A lot of people had trouble signing up for health insurance through MNsure on Nov. 1 – the first day of open enrollment.

The exchange opened at 6 a.m., and by about 6:30 people were already tweeting about their issues. The MNsure site was one of dozens of Minnesota government pages that were down for times on Tuesday. And MNsure's call center was spammed by robo calls, officials said.

So we had one of our writers try to sign up on Tuesday. Here's how that went.
