Watson, Stenson and other notables miss the cut at the Masters

Some of the best in the game will not be playing on Saturday.

With day two wrapped up from the Masters, a long list of regulars are bound for the clubhouse for the rest of the weekend after failing to make the cut.

The list includes defending Masters champion Danny Willett and reigning British Open winner Henrik Stenson.

  • Danny Willett +7
  • Jim Furyk +7
  • Zach Johnson + 7
  • Shane Lowry + 7
  • Henrik Stenson +8
  • Bubba Watson +8
  • Patrick Reed +9

Willett is the first golfer since 2004 to miss the cut the year after winning a green jacket. His quadruple-bogey on hole No. 8 had a lot to do with that.

Jordan Spieth was also in danger of missing the cut after two bogeys early Friday, but he rebounded with four birdies over his last 10 holes.

On the flip side, there's a four-way tie for first place as Charley Hoffman, Sergio Garcia, Thomas Pieters and Rickie Fowler are all four under par.
