The Star Tribune reports that the Wisconsin-based Wausau Paper Corp. will begin looking for buyers for three of its mills, including one in Brainerd. The other two that will be divested are in Mosinee and Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The mills make paper used for packaging, the food industry, linings and masking tape.
The Brainerd Dispatch reports that the company is not announcing a timeline for the changes. The company plans to focus on its tissue business and will shift resources to mills producing those products.
