You're in luck if you plan to get outside and celebrate America's birthday this weekend.

The weather for most of Minnesota is looking pretty glorious for the upcoming holiday, thanks to a high-pressure system that's moving into the region, the National Weather Service says.

Some areas of northern Minnesota could see a few showers, but otherwise it'll be dry, warm and not too humid for much of the state.

Here's a look at the forecast, no matter where you'll be celebrating Independence Day:

Twin Cities

High pressure will keep things dry through the holiday weekend in the Twin Cities, and meteorologist Paul Huttner wrote on MPR News' Updraft blog that there are "relatively few mosquitoes showing up on Doppler."
