">RYCC Savoia, a yacht club based in Naples, Italy, welcomed Noodle aboard their boat.

KUTV says the paddling pooch had escaped its collar on a ferry and fell overboard, nearly 20 miles west of where it was rescued. Its owner, Mario Di Meglio, reported the incident; he says the ferry's operators assumed the dog had drowned and would not stop.

But all's well that ends well, and as The Dodo reports, Noodle has been reunited with Meglio. The pup is reportedly doing well.
