Family and volunteers will continue searching this weekend for Mandy Matula, a 24-year-old Eden Prairie woman who went missing May 1, Fox 9 reports.

This weekend's search will focus on both Eden Prairie and St. Cloud.

Matula was last seen with her ex-boyfriend, David Roe, who was described as a "person of interest" in the case.

Asked to come in for questioning by officials, Roe shot himself outside the Eden Prairie Police Department and later died.

Last weekend the parents of Kira Steger joined the search for Matula in Waconia.

Kira Steger was previously referred to as Kira Trevino until the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office began calling her by calling her by her legal name.

Steger went missing Feb. 21 and her body was found in the Mississippi River last week.

Steger's husband, Jeffrey Trevino, has been charged with second degree murder in the case.

His trial was set to begin May 28, but after Steger's body was found, but a judge granted the prosecutor's request to postpone the trial until they could study the results of a full autopsy.

The trial is now expected to get underway July 22.
