This morning, troubled hip-hop megastar Kanye West met with President-elect Donald Trump.
Both have come under fire in the media the past few weeks, so as seemingly random of an event as this is, there's at least a lot they can say to each other in response to the question, "So, how've you been?"
Little is known about their meeting, other than it concluded with a photo-op where Trump said he and 'Ye "have been friends for a long time," and Kanye just wanted to take a picture.
Here's a massive what if, but what if Kanye West is going to play Donald Trump's inauguration in January? What would that look like?
Kanye's tour last year was the must-see hip-hop concert event. A big part of that was the lauded hovering stage, so we naturally assume Kanye would be floating on a stage over Trump's supporters.
But being Trump trumps all, his own personalized floating stage would be even bigger ("We're talkin' yyyuuuuuuuuuuge"), and higher up in the air. How about a floating inauguration?
Imagine a giant, ultralight beaming screen floating behind Kanye and Trump as well. Comparable to the one Kanye used on SNL last May, but this one will be much bigger. Trump's would block out the sun and the moon, replacing them with a big picture of himself and Kanye shaking hands.
Picture Kanye stopping mid-song to "speak from the heart" about Trump. He'd cite a video he saw of Trump from back in '92 of our next president in Manhattan helping a lost child. Many in attendance would recognize it as Trump's cameo in the film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
Kanye then would conclude his rant by randomly taking some upbeat-sounding but passive-aggressive comments about VP-elect Mike Pence for reasons that will forever go unexplained, before Trump emerges on a giant floating winged throne as Kanye plays "Power."
Remember, you heard it here first.
