So you join one of the Reddit secret Santa gift exchanges, expecting to get matched up with another normal person. You send your gift to someone, and you get one in the mail. It's a nice, fun way to be part of a community.

Or – you're Redditor Aerrix and you end up with the richest person in the world as your secret Santa.

Bill Gates sent a giant secret Santa package to the 30-year-old as part of the Reddit gift exchange. She then posted photos and the story to the website.

"I'm just blown away by his generosity," Aerrix wrote, noting in addition to all the goods (more below), he also donated to code.org in her name, to help teach students computer science.

So what did she get?

A photo of Gates in a Santa hat, Zelda mittens for her and her dog, a Minecraft Xbox One plus three special edition controllers, a couple games and Xbox gift cards, Harry Potter slippers, a Cajun cookbook (she wrote in her profile she misses her uncle's Cajun cooking) which Gates wrote a personalized note in, more video game swag, three movies, and an NES Classic Edition (which are very hard to find).

"Merry Christmas to all yall out there, and to Mr. Gates, who has the biggest heart and REALLY KNOWS HOW TO TREAT A GIRL TO SOME VIDEO GAMES (and video game paraphernalia)!" she wrote.

This is Bill Gates' Reddit account, by the way. And here's a gallery of Aerrix's haul.

Wow Bill Gates gifted Perler art as part of his reddit Secret Santa!
