White Bear Lake fire capt. arrested in prostitution sting

A White Bear Lake fire captain has been arrested on suspicion of soliciting as part of a prostitution sting in St. Paul, KSTP reported.

White Bear Lake Fire Chief Tim Vadnais told KSTP that Joseph Reil, 26, was an excellent firefighter who is still on the job, and that Reil is seeking an unspecified treatment in response to the arrest.

The chief said he was discussing with the city manager whether Reil should be disciplined.
