Police in Crystal had to deal with a slippery suspect on Saturday.

As Crystal PD says above via its Twitter account, the unusual-looking snake found near 32nd and Xenia doesn't appear to be one of the 13 snakes found native in Minnesota.

They sent it over to the Minnesota Herpetological Society in Dinkytown.

After posting the picture to Twitter, the police department decided to have some fun with its followers, some of whom were a little freaked out by the reptile.
