Crews continue to cleanup 63,000 gallons of gasoline in Apple Valley
The Star Tribune reports the fuel leaked from a pipe in mid-February at a private storage facility. City water is being tested and four municipal wells closest to the spill have been removed from service as a precaution. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency estimates the gasoline still in the soil is several hundred feet above the nearest city well.
