Wild Wisconsin wedding goes wayward as man bites cop
Wedding crashers in Monona, Wisconsin--who turned out to be Dane County police--saw crime take a bite out of them as a wedding party escalated into a brawl in which a man bit an officer on the hand.
The Associated Press reports that all was well Sunday evening just outside Madison until one reveler tried to run over another person with a car while celebrating the beautiful union of a blushing bride and her stately groom.
WISC-TV reported that Monona police requested assistance from Madison police because of the number of people involved, according to the AP. Bedlam and a scuffle, if not hilarity, ensued as one man then became belligerent, fought with officers and bit one of them on the hand. A second cop who got involved was also injured.
Ouch! What's going on in Wisconsin? On May 19 at a bar near Milwaukee, a patron at the Second Chance Saloon apparently took the notion of "Cheesehead" literally when he pulled a Mike Tyson, biting the ear of another gentleman in a parking-lot showdown.
Does this even need to be said? The alleged biter and three others were arrested, according to the AP, and alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor.
