WCCO features the buttons for the 128th St. Paul Winter Carnival. The festival, billed as "The Coolest Celebration on Earth" runs from Jan. 23 to Feb 2., with a majority of the events in downtown St. Paul. It is run by the St. Paul Heritage and Festival Foundation.

The buttons feature likenesses of Winter Carnival royalty: King Boreas, Aurora Queen of the Snows, Vulcanus Rex and Klondike Kate. They were designed by Chad Peterson, a local artist and ice-sculptor.

The Winter Carnival website offers many ways for people to get involved. It says buttons are on sale at SuperAmerica stores. Cost is $5 for one and $19 for all four.
