Wis. man accused of drugging, taking nude pics of co-workers
A 28-year-old Madison, Wis., man is accused of drugging and taking nude photographs or video footage of eight women, six of whom were co-workers, the Wisconsin State Journal reports.
Brian C. Stowe was charged Monday with 62 felonies, including sexual assault and photographing the victims in the nude without their consent, the newspaper reports.
WISC TV in Madison said Corey Stephan, assistant Dane County district attorney said, “This is not just an after-bar practical joke that went awry.”
Six of the women worked with Stowe at Epic Systems in Verona, Wis., and they all considered Stowe to be a friend and nothing more, according to a criminal complaint filed in Dane County Circuit Court, the newspaper reported. He was arrested at the health records software company on May 31.
A criminal complaint says one woman said she felt "disgusted, embarrassed and betrayed" after detectives showed her images of herself. The complaint says the case stems from a report from a 17-year-old who went to police and said that she was assaulted by Stowe as she was in and out of consciousness. Police seized his camera and digital storage devices.
Stowe, who has dual U.S. and British citizenship, was ordered to surrender his British passport.
