Wisconsin man dies from injuries after tractor accident

A man from western Wisconsin has died after he was involved in a tractor accident on Friday.

WCCO reports that Travis Anderson, 38, of Ellsworth, was killed after an accident along County Road A, south of Highway 10, in Salem Township just after 10 p.m.

Few details of the accident have been released, but KSTP reports it happened along a field edge, near to a wood line, with authorities arriving at the scene to find Anderson had suffered "traumatic injuries."

He was transported to a helicopter landing zone by emergency responders, but he was pronounced dead before he could be taken to a hospital.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
