Ideal lake weather has come back with a vengeance.

The National Weather Service (NWS) said that this weekend will be one of the best weekends weatherwise of the year – and we'll take it happily.

The Twin Cities will see highs ranging from 75-80 on Saturday and 80 on Sunday, both days mostly sunny.

Unlike most of this past week, there is no threat of frost as lows will be in the 40s and 50s.

The NWS of Sioux Falls called the weather a "picture perfect Saturday" for a region that stretches into southwest and central Minnesota due to the sun, low to mid 70s forecast and a light southern breeze.

Northern Minnesota and lake country won't be left out either. It will be in the upper 70s region-wide, with International Falls predicted to get to 81 degrees and sunny.
