Prosecutors say 26-year-old Tria Moua approached the children and persuaded them to go with her into her van. It was when they got out of the van that the victims realized their jewelry was missing. Police say no children reported being harmed.

James Juan Catrone Parker, 34, was pulled over Wednesday morning by a Wisconsin state trooper on I-94 in St. Croix County, and was also charged with possession of marijuana and ecstasy. The children are ages 4, 6 and 16.

St. Paul man charged with brutal 15 hour assault

Sonny James Drury was charged Thursday with felony domestic assault and false imprisonment after an Oct. 7th incident where he ordered his girlfriend into her car and repeatedly assaulted her. The woman says Drury was upset about an impending return to prison.
