Woman shot along freeway in southern Twin Cities metro
Police in Eagan say a woman is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after she was shot in the back early Sunday morning, WCCO reports. The victim was a passenger in a vehicle northbound on Interstate 35E. Investigators are still trying to determine where the bullet came from.
The Star Tribune notes the driver was not injured.
No one is in custody and the incident remains under investigation, the Pioneer Press reports.
Two men and two women also suffered non-life threatening injuries after a nightclub shooting early Saturday morning near the University of Minnesota West Bank campus. Minneapolis police are still looking for the shooter in this case as well.
