Woman shot and killed on I-394 identified

Officials have identified the woman shot to death by Golden Valley Police on I-394 as Katherine Marie Gordon, 58, of California. Police said Gordon had possession of a handgun when she was pulled over. The Star Tribune reports she had a history of mental illness.

Police say 30-year-old Paul Heenan, who had reportedly been drinking, mistakenly entered a house two doors down from his own and got into an altercation with his neighbor.
