A woman was stabbed during a robbery in a downtown Minneapolis parking ramp early Saturday.
The victim was walking to her vehicle with several other women when a man took her purse and stabbed her in the chest, Sgt. Catherine Michal of the Minneapolis Police Department told GoMN.
The incident happened just before 1 a.m. in Ramp B, located at 516 2nd Ave. N. near Target Field.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where as of Sunday she was listed in serious condition, Michal said. Another woman was also injured during the incident – she got a "minor cut" on her hand and didn't need any medical attention.
The suspect fled the scene on foot. No one has been arrested, and police did not provide a description of the suspect.
GoMN has reached out to the police department for more information.
