Woman's body found in Minneapolis park Saturday afternoon

Police are treating it as suspicious for now.

Police are investigating after a body was found in a Minneapolis park.

A passerby found what appears to be a woman's body in Bryn Mawr Meadows Park on Saturday afternoon, police say.

It's unclear how she died, so for right now they're treating it as a suspicious death.

Ben Kwan, an attorney in the Twin Cities, was passing by as police responded to the incident, and posted the above picture on Twitter.

He says he was told by police that the woman appears to have been homeless and she possibly froze to death. This has not yet been confirmed by police.

The North Minneapolis Crime Watch Facebook page says EMTs were called to a person in "full arrest."
