Wright County officials asking for help finding a missing man

Officials are asking for the public's help locating a man who has been missing from Otsego, Minnesota for the last couple of days.

Joseph Gerald Brunn, 23, was last seen around 1:30 Saturday morning, when he left the Boondox Bar and Grille in Otsego.

Brunn left his car behind and didn't return home, according to FOX 9. Family and friends say it's unusual for him to be out of contact with them.

The station reports that Brunn was last seen walking from the restaurant towards a field. Volunteers searched the cornfield and areas along the nearby Mississippi River on Sunday without finding him.

Brunn is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing black/grey dress pants, a light blue button-up dress shirt, black dress shoes and a black belt.

Brunn grew up in Rogers and currently lives in Monticello, according to FOX 9.

The Wright County Sheriff's Office said on its Facebook page that residents in the Otsego, Elk River and Monticello areas should check their property and report anything they find that could assist in the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Wright County Sheriff’s Office at 763-682-1162.

Another search effort is being planned for Monday, according to the Help Find Joe Brunn Facebook page, and organizers are asking for volunteers to help.
