Wright County search crops up 56 pounds of marijuana, other drugs

Authorities found 56 pounds of marijuana in addition to methamphetamine and cocaine when they searched a home in Southside Township in Wright County Wednesday.

The Wright County Sheriff's office, Annandale Police and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety's Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement had a search warrant for a home where they found drugs and a "homemade active alcohol distillery set up in the basement," according to the sheriff's office.

Two men, ages 63 and 60, were arrested and booked on suspicion of felony drug violations, but charges have not yet been filed, the Star Tribune reports.
