Wrong-way driver crashes on I-94


At least two people are recovering following an overnight wrong-way crash on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis.

WCCO reports the accident happened between Broadway and Lowry around 1:30 a.m. At least one person had to be cut out of the car, and at least two people were taken to the hospital.

Officials said the driver of the vehicle heading the wrong way was arrested for drunk driving.

KSTP reports that the State Patrol said the driver was leaving downtown Minneapolis and got onto the wrong on-ramp.
