Creepy! Severe storms turned Minneapolis skies green

As severe storms rocked the state Sunday morning, there was no shortage of photos showing freaky-looking skies and hail damage posted on social media.

One particularly creepy photo of the Minneapolis skyline turned green (shown above) is getting the internet's attention. Jason Botello posted it to Reddit Sunday morning, where it has since been "upvoted" about 29,000 times, making the front page of the site.

Botello also posted some eerie video footage:

Responding to commenters, Botello joked: "I'm not dead! The storm was intense but a tornado never formed. Any tornado tips for someone living on the 8th story of an apartment building?"
