A 20-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash in Ramsey on Friday night.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened at 10:50 p.m. on the 15100 block of St. Francis Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they found the 20 year old dead in the roadway. He's believed to have been thrown from the vehicle.
Another man, aged 21, had exited the vehicle and had sustained minor injuries.
He was initially arrested on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide, with witnesses telling police that he was driving at the time of the crash.
But he denied it when interviewed by police, and surveillance footage from a nearby gas station store subsequently showed that the dead man was the driver.
The 21 year old has been released from custody. The investigation will continue.
