If there's a sure sign that leaves will soon turn into spectacular fall colors, it's the start of the Sever's Corn Maze and Fall Festival.

The Shakopee festival opened to the public on Friday, celebrating its 19th year with some new attractions – with four ziplines and a live monkey show among the numerous activities on site, a full list of which you can find here.

The centerpiece, obviously, is the massive corn maze that this year has been patterned in the shape of a fire truck – with the words "Thank You" written out underneath.

Paying tribute to the service of firefighters everywhere, dotted about the maze will be boards displaying facts about firefighters and the roles they play in communities.

Also returning this year is the popular corn pit which, let's face it, looks like the most fun ever, as well as a petting zoo, giant slide and pig races.

KSTP reports that the maze will be open Friday to Sunday every weekend through Nov. 1, with special events taking place throughout the season – including a family movie night on Sept. 25, Oktoberfest on Oct. 2, and Halloween celebrations on Oct. 23.

The maze can be found at 1100 Canterbury Road in Shakopee and its hours are 1-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

You can buy tickets for the festival here.
