Meet The Team
Editor – Adam Uren
Raised on the Isle of Man (it's lovely, check it out), Adam has more than a decade of experience as a reporter and editor at regional and national level in the U.K. and the U.S.
He moved to Minnesota in 2014 and became a writer for Bring Me The News. After later becoming a senior producer and Tip Jar columnist, he is now BMTN's co-owner and editor.
Listing his three great loves as his family, Liverpool F.C. and baked beans (the British kind), you can reach him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sports Editor – Joe Nelson
Born and raised in a Minnesota town without a stoplight (Hi, Grove City), Joe has spent his entire life in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
That means he's done plenty of shivering, shoveling, and smack-talking about Minnesota sports only to be let down time and time again.
Professionally, Joe got his start in sports media in 2004 and launched it into a career with KFAN for seven years before catching a ride on the digital boom shortly after Bring Me The News originally launched. He's been with the brand ever since and is now the company's co-owner.
Feel free to throw Joe a story idea or reach out with anything else at email@example.com.
News reporter – Melissa Turtinen
Melissa was born and raised in Wayzata, Minnesota, before moving to Massachusetts to start her journalism career in community newspapers and TV news.
She just couldn't stay away from the great state of Minnesota. After returning in 2013, she began working for Bring Me The News before becoming the editor of two weekly newspapers in the western Twin Cities suburbs. She's now returned to bring Minnesotans the news and all the animal stories she can find to tell.
Send any story ideas, cute videos and recommendations for outdoor adventures to firstname.lastname@example.org
