1 game in Boston and the media is already ripping ex-Twin Abad

Little did Fernando Abad know that he would be getting ripped by Boston media less than 48 hours after the Twins traded him to the Red Sox.

No fault of his own, Abad's last name is really easy to work with when describing something ... bad. And that's exactly what the Boston Herald did with a headline after Abad got roughed up in his Red Sox debut.

Abad came into the game in the eighth with two runners on and All-Star Robinson Cano at the plate for the Mariners. Abad got ahead of him with a pair of quick strikes only to hang a curve over the middle that Cano launched into the seats for a 3-run homer. Boston had a 4-2 lead before Cano took Abad deep for the winner.
