Props to Newscatic.com for creating a list of the "10 Coolest Minnesota High School Mascots."

The list features schools that don't have common mascots – Bulldogs, Cougars, Eagles and others – which are frequently found throughout the state. If the list doesn't include a mascot you feel deserved to be on the list, let us know about it on our Facebook page.

Without further ado, here are the top 10.

10. Litchfield Dragons

9. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers

8. Wabasso Rabbits

7. Minneapolis Roosevelt Teddies

6. Fergus Falls Otters

5. Edgerton Ellsworth Flying Dutchmen

4. Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms

3. Brooklyn Center Centaurs

2. Triton Cobras

1. Moorhead Spuds

USA Today had a competition last year to see what the best mascot in the country was. They established a favorite in each state before choosing a winner. Minnesota's winner was the Winona Winhawks.

Other unusual mascots were the Ozark Hillbillies (Arkansas), Yuma Criminals (Arizona), Williamsport Millionaires (Pennsylvania) and the Salem Witches (Massachusetts). Check out a full photo gallery of great mascots here.
