Finishing a NFL regular season with a 15-1 record is rare. Going 15-1 and failing to reach the Super Bowl is even more uncommon. As a matter of fact only two teams have accomplished the dubious feat -- The 1998 Minnesota Vikings and 2011 Green Bay Packers.
