Sports Illustrated released it's top 100 NBA players going into the 2017 season and three Minnesota Timberwolves made the list.

Ricky Rubio was ranked 71 and Andrew Wiggins came in at 67. Karl-Anthony Towns was all the way up at 23. But here are the top 22.

  1. LeBron James
  2. Kevin Durant
  3. Steph Curry
  4. Chris Paul
  5. Russell Westbrook
  6. Kawhii Leonard
  7. James Harden
  8. Anthony Davis
  9. Paul George
  10. Blake Griffin
  11. LaMarcus Aldridge
  12. DeMarcus Cousins
  13. Draymond Green
  14. Kyle Lowry
  15. Paul Milsap
  16. Jimmy Butler
  17. John Wall
  18. Al Horford
  19. Klay Thompson
  20. DeAndre Jordan
  21. Damian Lillard
  22. Marc Gasol

It's tough to make too much of an argument against any of these players, but the fact that Towns is this high on the list at 20 years old should scare the rest of the league. The Ringer's Bill Simmons is already on record predicting Towns to be a top 10 player this season.
