Harrison Smith, Xavier Rhodes, Cordarrelle Patterson and Everson Griffen of the Vikings were named to the Pro Bowl on Tuesday night. The voting was done by players, fans and coaches.

It's the second trip to the Pro Bowl for Griffen, Smith and Patterson; for Rhodes, it's the first time he has received the recognition.

Patterson was named to the event as a return specialist and he's the first Viking returner to be selected twice in franchise history.

With Rhodes being selected, he's the seventh player to be named to the Pro Bowl since Mike Zimmer took over as head coach in 2014.

The 2017 Pro Bowl will return to the traditional AFC vs. NFC format in Orlando, Florida at Camping World Stadium, a week before the Super Bowl. For the past three years, the game used an unconferenced, draft-style approach.

The Oakland Raiders led the way with seven selections this season.
