High school football typically doesn't have a big stage in Minnesota, but Friday night gets no bigger than this for Cretin-Derham Hall and Stillwater on the gridiron.
In a matchup that will be the first nationally televised high school football game in the state of Minnesota, the Raiders will host Suburban East rival Stillwater under the lights at the University of St. Thomas (Cretin's home field) on ESPN2 tomorrow night.
The game is part of ESPN's continuing Geico High School Foootball Showcase Series, which features a prep football game every week from around the nation highlighting the best programs and players in the country.
The subject for tomorrow's contest will be CDH defensive end Jashon Cornell, ESPN's top prospect in the nation for the class of 2015.
The action starts at 7 p.m., with one-loss Cretin looking to hand Stillwater it's first defeat of the season.
