The Timberwolves have been without head coach Rick Adelman for over two weeks, and the timetable for his return is still indefinite.

Acting head coach Terry Porter tells the Pioneer Press that Adelman is "trying to come to grips" with what's going on. Adelman's wife is in the hospital with an undisclosed illness.

The Wolves are 2-6 without Adelman on the bench.

In other news J.J. Barea has been fined $5,000 for violating the NBA's anti-flopping policy. It's his second violation of the season.
