Adrian Peterson is still having a tough time finding a role with his new team.
Peterson played in just six snaps – a career low – for the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, who took on the Miami Dolphins. He carried the football just four times, for four yards.
Quarterback Drew Brees had the same amount of rushing attempts, for one-less yard.
Peterson has yet to carry the rock more than 10 times this season. His season high of nine carries came last week against the Carolina Panthers.
With Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara also on the roster, Peterson is basically their third-string running back.
In the Vikings' win over the Saints in Week 1, Peterson and Saints head coach Sean Payton got into a little spat on the sidelines.
New Orleans signed Peterson to a two-year contract in April, but with how little the former MVP has played this season, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Saints cut their ties with him sooner rather than later.
