Adrian Peterson reaches finals of Madden NFL 25 cover vote

Adrian Peterson has been on the cover of plenty of magazines, but he could be gracing the cover of Madden NFL 25.

EA Sports, the maker of the popular video game, is allowing fans to vote for the player that will be on the cover.

The vote is played out on a bracket of 32 players. The "Old School" side of the bracket features retired NFL stars. Peterson is on the "New School" side of the bracket, which features current players.

In his semifinal match-up with Houston Texans running back Arian Foster, Peterson cruised to a win with 64 percent of the vote.

MVP Peterson will face former Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders in the final, for the right to be on the cover.

The winner will be revealed April 24, on ESPN's SportsNation.
