The snowmobile-suit-wearing beer and cheese crowd might not like this.

In an effort to curb rowdy fans at Saturday night's playoff game against the Vikings, the Packers will shut down Lambeau Field alcohol sales at the start of the third quarter, the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Alcohol sales are usually capped before the fourth quarter, but a Packers security official says games against divisional rivals -- and during the playoffs -- seem to generate more misbehaving, and most troublemakers are under the influence of alcohol.

WBAY-TV reportsthat the last time the Vikings played in Green Bay, in early December, police ejected 15 people and arrested two during the game. After the game, a dozen fights broke out in the stadium district -- with one man landing in the hospital.
