Amateur boxer who collapsed during Minnesota fight dies


Amateur boxer Jerimiah Moen of Grand Forks, North Dakota died Wednesday morning, just four days after collapsing during a fight last weekend.

The Grand Forks Herald reports that Moen collapsed between rounds of a match held in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.

Members of his family told the newspaper that Moen suffered "serious trauma" to his brain from previous injuries. It is unknown if his injuries were sustained while boxing.
