Andrew Brunette retires, joins Wild's front office
Andrew Brunette, after 16 seasons in the NHL, announced his retirement on Wednesday. He had two stints with the Wild and is the franchise's second all-time leading goal-scorer.
Brunette and the Wild also announced that he's joining the front office as a hockey operations advisor. He'll assist general manager Chuck Fletcher with free-agent signings, scouting and development of players at all levels of the organization.
Bruno is best known for his game 7 game-winning goal against Colorado in the 2003 NHL playoffs.
