Andrew Wiggins is the NBA's most promising "rising star," said ESPN/True Hoop analyst David Thorpe.
Wiggins, along with Wolf teammates Zach LaVine, Gorgui Dieng and Shabazz Muhammad will all play in Saturday's All-Star Weekend Rising Stars Challenge.
Thorpe says it's amazing to see Wiggins score the way he does because he's so young that he truly doesn't know what he's doing. In other words: Wiggins is getting it done on raw talent alone.
While Wiggins might be the best of the rising stars, the other Minnesota youngsters combine to create a glimmer of hope for the future. Thorpe tweeted that he'd be stunned if there are many teams in the league that wouldn't swap all of its young talent for the group of youngsters Flip Saunders has assembled at Target Center.
