The Vikings appear to be all in on putting together a roster that will allow them to compete for a second consecutive NFC North division championship and maybe even a shot at going deeper into the playoffs.

General manager Rick Spielman was active on the first day of free agency, signing two-time Pro Bowl guard Alex Boone along with former Titans first-round safety Michael Griffin and linebackers Travis Lewis and Emmanuel Lamur – and he apparently isn't done searching for positional upgrades just yet.

“We might be able to pick up another guy or two as we continue down the road here,” Spielman told KFAN on Thursday.

But who they might be able to get is the question.

Former Bengals first-round pick, tackle Andre Smith, is expected to visit the Vikings, according to multiple reports.

Current players on the roster who could start at right tackle for the Vikings next season include Phil Loadholt, T.J. Clemmings and Mike Harris. Loadholt is coming off a torn Achilles, Clemmings is entering his second year after starting all 16 games in 2015 and Harris played right guard all of last season.

Smith would be an immediate upgrade over all three.

Former Bears tackle, Jermon Bushrod, is another name being floated to the Vikings.
