Minnesota Twins 6

The Minnesota Twins have their first winning streak of the season with a 6-4 win over the Angels on Saturday afternoon.

Minnesota used some late inning magic for the second straight game giving the Twins their second win of the season.

1. Back-to-back homers

The game was tied heading into the bottom of the eighth but Oswaldo Arcia and Byung Ho Park hit back-to-back home runs giving the Twins a 6-4 lead.

Arcia's shot was estimated at 419-feet and Park's blast went 462-feet.

2. Nunez continues to rake

Eduardo Nunez batted leadoff again for the Twins and had another multi-hit game. Nunez went 2-4 with a triple and a run scored. Nunez is hitting .692 and is 9-11 in his last three starts.

3. In Plouffe we trust

Trevor Plouffe took to twitter earlier this week, telling fans to keep believing despite an 0-9 start to the season. After going 2-4 last night, Plouffe had another strong game going 3-4 with a home run, double and two runs batted in.
