Minnesota Timberwolves 105

Sacramento Kings 97

The Minnesota Timberwolves picked up their second straight road victory when they beat the Sacramento Kings 105-97 Thursday night in Sacramento.

The victory secured a season sweep of the series with the Kings for the Wolves.

1. LaVine gets back on track

Wolves guard Zach LaVine was red hot in the first half. He finished the half 6-of-8 shooting and was 4-of-6 from behind the arch. LaVine finished the half with 18.

That's also what he finished the night with 18 points.

2. Bjelica's big night

As LaVine quieted in the second half Nemanja Bjelica heated up. Bjelica scored 18 points as he knocked down 4-0f-5 from the three-point line.

Bjelica and LaVine led a Wolves squad that combined to knock down 11-of-21 from the three-point line.

3. Inside double-doubles

Gorgui Dieng had one of his best nights of the season on Thursday finishing with 18 points and 13 boards. He wasn't alone inside though. Karl-Anthony Towns also went for 17 points and 10 boards.

For Towns it was his 50th double-double of the season, an accomplishment that's only been completed by five players since 1980.
