The Minnesota Lynx didn't have Seimone Augustus or Lindsay Whalen, but that wasn't a problem as they beat Indiana 81-65 Friday night at Target Center.

Instead, the Lynx used an extremely balanced attack to hold down the Fever.

Slyvia Fowles and Rebekkah Brunson each had big nights inside for Minnesota. Each recorded double-doubles. Fowles finished with 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Brunson added 14 points and 11 boards.

Maya Moore was just 4-of-8 shooting for 11 points in 24 minutes, but she left the game late in the third quarter with an apparent injury.

Moore did not return to the game, but others stepped up.

Renee Montgomery scored 13 points and Anna Cruz chipped in 12.

Marissa Coleman had a team-high 16 points for the Fever. Tamika Catchings added 10.

The Lynx used an 8-0 run in the second quarter and a 9-0 run in the third to create some separation between they and the Fever.

The Lynx (21-10) are back on the court on Sunday when they host Eastern Conference-leading New York in a game that could determine home court advantage in the finals.
