Even though six out of the eight Timberwolves who played put up double-digit points, the beat-up Wolves lost to the Spurs 123-97 in San Antonio Sunday night.

Kevin Martin led the Wolves with 19 points, followed by Zach LaVine with 18. Andrew Wiggins put up 13 points, according to NBA.com.

The Wolves trailed at halftime 60-50, but fell behind even further in the third period when San Antonio put up 33 points compared to just 13 for the Wolves.

Ankle injuries benched Ricky Rubio, Nikola Pekovic and Gary Neal. Kevin Garnett is also out along with Anthony Bennett, Shabazz Muhammad and Robbie Hummel, according to the Star Tribune.

The Wolves return from their four-game, four-loss road trip Monday to host the Nets. No word yet on who will start.
