Furious fans have apparently done enough to twist the Big Ten's arm and convince them to put Friday's men's college hockey playoff game on TV.

Originally, this series between the Gophers and Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament was only viewable in person or via BTN Plus, which costs $79.95 a year or $9.95 for one month.

Naturally, fans were pissed.

Less than 24 hours after the original "TV" plans were announced, the Gophers released a statement saying they found a way to get Friday's Gophers-Penn State game on Fox Sports North PLUS and Saturday's game on Fox Sports North.

“After receiving our initial broadcast schedule for this weekend’s series, we immediately began discussing alternative options that would get the games on television here in Minnesota, said Gophers Athletics Director Mark Coyle.

Both games can also be streamed on BTN2Go and Fox Sports Go.
