Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose preview the Wolves

"The best power forward in the NBA" -- Jalen Rose on Kevin Love.

Former NBA guard Jalen Rose and ESPN's Bill Simmons do an awesome podcast together every day. They're currently in the middle of their 2013-14 NBA season preview. Sitting at No. 17 on their list are the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Rose went on to say that Love and center Nikola Pekovic will be "one of the most productive 4-5 tandems in the whole game."

Simmons thinks the Wolves overpaid for shooting guard Kevin Martin. The podcast is only 11 minutes long... give it a listen and create a little hope for your winter sports season.

17th on their list, in a countdown from worst to best in the league, seems about right for the Wolves considering coach Rick Adelman had to rip into the team because they were playing hard enough. FOX Sports North has the story.
