The brackets for this coming week's Boys State Hockey Tournament finals at the Xcel Energy Center have been released.
It's an unusual year for the Class 2A tournament as it's the first time since 2007/08 that both Edina and Duluth East haven't made the tournament, in what has already been a tournament filled with upsets.
Chief among them was reigning champions Lakeville North being beaten in the Section 1 final by Farmington.
Farmington's reward for the upset is a matchup against No. 2 seeds Stillwater in the quarter finals at 11 a.m. Thursday.
The No. 1 seed is Eden Prairie, who will take on unranked Anoka at 6 p.m. the same day, while No. 3 Wayzata will face unseeded Burnsville.
No. 4 Grand Rapids and and No. 5 Bemidji will fight it out in the final match in what will be a battle for supremacy in northern Minnesota.
In the Class 1A tournament, Hermantown High School enter the quarter finals as the No. 1 seeds as they take on unseeded Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato Dragons, who shocked highly-favored Luverne this week with a 7-6 overtime win.
No. 2 seed Breck will face unseeded Mankato West, with No. 3. Thief River Falls taking on unseeded Princeton.
The final match-up will see No. 4 St. Paul Academy take on No. 5 St. Cloud Cathedral.
