We're not in the business of reporting non-Minnesota sports.

Usually.

In this case, we'll make an exception, with word coming down that 2011 NL MVP Ryan Braun has been suspended for the rest of the 2013 season without pay in connection with the Biogenesis scandal in Florida.

This is the second time Braun has been involved in allegations of steroid use, and he all but admitted his wrongdoing in a short statement you can find here.

This is the first suspension surrounding the Florida drug lab, but many believe there is a firestorm of bans to come, including a massive one for a Yankee that has been connected to PEDs before.
